Zoom has announced that it will adopt a hybrid approach as it prepares for a return to office working.
It said an internal survey of employees found only 1% wanted to return to the office full-time.
Ford is facing a similar scenario, as in some factories, absentee rates can exceed 20%. This is due to the forceful nature of wearing face masks.
The United Auto Workers union agreed to begin requiring masks in their factories again. That mandate has contributed to the absentee problem in the company.
