The UK economy unexpectedly fell by 0.3%, as cable also plummeted to 1.10.
The surprise drop came after the economy grew 0.1% in July as recession fears continued.
On top of that, The BoE will stop buying bonds to help pension funds this week.
All eyes will be on how far the pound will slide, as recent lows could come back to haunt the currency.
