StockWatch: Google to Invest $1bn in Australia!
Google has announced that it will invest $1bn in Australia over the next five years.
This is the US technology giant’s largest investment in the country. Specifically, they will build a research hub and fund partnerships with local organizations.
Shell’s plan to move HQ to London got Dutch backlash after announcing it would relocate to London and lose “Royal Dutch” from its name.
The plans were greeted with dismay in the Netherlands, where politicians said they were unpleasantly surprised by the firm’s decision to abandon its headquarters in the Hague.
