Avoid Forex trading products marketed by others like trading robots and signal systems.

Automated forex trading robots and forex signal systems may sound very attractive to the novice trader who is struggling with the process of creating their own profitable trading system.  These products are typically marked with a lot of hype and are black box systems in the sense that their internal trading method is kept a secret to those purchasing them. Trading robots will automatically monitor the market and perform trades, while signal systems provide a trader with buy or sell recommendations, sometimes with a suggestion as to an appropriate position size to take.  Despite the attractive sales pitch, these products are only a crutch and will never teach you how to be a successful forex trader on your own.
