Intraday Analysis 23.10.2026
USDJPY moving lower
The Yen bounced back against the greenback as price action looks to erase all gains from the beginning of the month.
- A close below 157.00 indicates renewed selling pressure on USDJPY and could lead to a bearish continuation.
- The recent low at 156.80 is a major target ahead for USDJPY if the dollar collapses further.
- 158.00 is a critical resistance to break in case of a pullback.
NZDUSD hits resistance
The Kiwi halted its recent rally as the greenback remained broadly pressured.
- After breaking 0.5650, the Kiwi headed higher to recapture around 50 pips.
- Since then, a bounce at 0.5710 looks like firm resistance as the RSI bounces away from overbought territory.
- Intraday sellers’ profit-taking could drive prices even higher, especially if they lift the 0.5700 zone.
- If sentiment becomes downbeat, 0.5670 becomes the fresh support.
UK 100 remains choppy
The FTSE continues to grind sideways as the recent direction has left traders feeling uneasy.
- Following a tentative test to break 10700 on the downside, the index seems to have found support.
- With a divergent RSI suggesting a slowdown, 10520 is a critical floor to hold.
- A hold at 10700 could lift offers higher, and the price could revisit 10900.
