ExxonMobil and Chevron Corp were dealt blows by shareholders demanding that they act more quickly to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions.
However, the real change will have to come from the demand side, offering consumers affordable, reliable, and convenient alternatives to fossil fuels.
Total will be rebranded as TotalEnergies as it shifts some of its focus towards renewable energy sources
