AT&T beat analysts’ estimates for monthly phone bill paying subscriber additions in Q2, with more customers converting to 5G phones.
The company added 789,000 net new post-paid phone subscribers during the quarter, above the estimates of 278,000.
Intel reported revenue and earnings per share that beat both the company’s own forecast as well as Wall Street expectations.
However, shares fell by 2% as investors assessed cautionary guidance on margins in the current quarter.
