Netflix kicked off 2021 with a huge subscriber miss. The streaming service only added about 4 million people between January and March, well short of the projected 6 million.
However, Q1 profits were still up by $1.7 billion, and revenue jumped to 24%, to $7.1 billion.
Shares of Proctor & Gamble rose more than 1% in midday trading yesterday after the company topped Wall Street’s earnings and revenue estimates.
P&G also announced it will hike prices on some products in September to respond to higher commodity costs.
