Rolls Royce said its sales soared by 49% to a record high in 2021 despite the global coronavirus pandemic.

The carmaker sold over 5.5k vehicles, the largest number in its 117-year history.

In addition, luxury carmaker Bentley (a unit of Volkswagen) said that last week it had cruised to a record year in 2021 as global sales jumped by 31% amid strong demand for high-end vehicles.
