Elon Musk has disapproved a bill that provides credits for EVs manufactured domestically at facilities with unionized workforces.
Tesla is famously anti-union, while workers at more established carmakers like General Motors Company (GM) and Ford have representation.
GM and Ford stand to benefit, however, the proposal must pass the Senate and it is part of a larger $3.5t bill.
