The takeover battle for supermarket chain Morrisons will be settled by an auction process. US private equity firm CD&R is vying with Fortress Investment Group for control of the grocer.
Tesco has warned that the recent panic buying could be worst than the first lockdown due to the recent driver shortages.
The company also has its own fuelling stations, the majority of which closed due to the supply constraints that continue to hit the UK.
