Orbex, a global leader in online forex trading, today announced that the company continues its long-standing tradition of supporting charitable causes and sporting events. Orbex has committed to sponsoring the 7th “Run Kuwait” charity marathon, one of the biggest and most significant running events in the Middle East.
Orbex prides itself on being involved in multiple philanthropy initiatives. In the past the company has sponsored various charity events such as “Run in Colour,” a Cyprus fundraising marathon, supporting children with cancer and leukemia; “Light it up blue” campaign and ‘The Blue Day Festival’ in Palestine, dedicated to the World Autism Awareness Day.
The “Run Kuwait” marathon is a Fawzia Sultan Healthcare Network’s annual 10-km race that aims to raise awareness and funds to support Children’s Evaluation and Rehabilitation Centre (CERC), a non-profit organization that helps children with special needs. This goal aligns with Orbex values and core principles for sustainable and socially responsible business development.
As a sponsor of the “Run Kuwait” race, Orbex will have a prominent presence at all marathon activities and will award the winners of the Youth race.
“Kuwait marathon hosts thousands of runners who want to connect their passion for healthy living with a meaningful cause close to their heart. As a Kuwait-based business, we are honoured to be a part of this major charity event. We see it as a great opportunity to give back to the community and make a real impact on the lives of children,” – said Mohammed Yaghi, Head of Global Business Development at Orbex.
The marathon will take place on November 11th. Orbex encourages all its traders to get involved and attend this significant social event.
